Senior Manager Talent Acquisition

The Sr Manager, Talent Acquisition, is a critical role accountable for driving and overseeing all hiring efforts across Singapore and the APAC region (excluding China).

 

The position will play a pivotal role in managing the ramp-up of the regional hub in Singapore and, later on, will be accountable for building and leading the regional Talent Acquisition Delivery Team.

 

In close collaboration with the Sr Director HRM APAC, local and regional Business Leaders, and the TA CoE, the role will be responsible for adapting recruitment best practices by translating enterprise-wide strategy to local and regional-specific needs, ultimately acting as a role model in the TA community and a trusted partner of the business leaders.

 

More about the role:

 

  • Work closely with the newly established HR and Business leadership team in Singapore to manage critical hiring needs locally and across various geographies in APAC
  • Take the lead on all recruitment activity across Sonova’s APAC (excluding China) locations, ensuring appropriate workload allocation, sourcing and delivery against a range of requirements across all functions
  • Manage end-to-end hiring efforts directly from the intake meeting to sourcing, interviewing, and offer management
  • Act as a first-level escalation point for key Regional and Cluster HR or Business stakeholders
  • Foster close collaboration with local and regional HR teams within the assigned geography, ensuring that all recruitment touchpoints are upskilled and equipped as required to support hiring activities
  • Support the adaptation of talent acquisition-related technology enhancements and processes designed by the CoE, including drive toward purposeful use of data and analytics to ensure sustainable and healthy performance (KPIs)
  • Coach or mentor colleagues and team members according to individual development plans
  • Cascade and achieve performance objectives defined by the CoEs for recruitment delivery in APAC, ensuring appropriate alignment with performance/quality standards defined in relevant SLAs                            

 

More about you:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, or related field.
  • 7+ years’ experience in recruitment (E2E) with a strong focus on active candidate identification, engagement, and assessing top talent.
  • Expertise to build high-functioning delivery teams on a regional level from scratch, in a matrix organization.
  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System and Candidate Relationship Management System. SAP and Phenom knowledge is a plus.
  • Previous experience in center/HQ ramp-ups and regional growth projects across various countries in APAC.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, ability to tailor messages to various stakeholder groups and seniorities.
  • Trusted advisor who has proven experience in coaching and challenging senior leaders with high confidence and empathy.
