Senior Manager Product Quality (m/f/d)

 

Help shape how quality is engineered into products used by millions of people worldwide.

 

At Sonova, we're looking for an experienced quality leader to own and evolve our global Critical-to-Quality (CtQ) framework, ensuring the product characteristics most critical to customer satisfaction, reliability, safety and regulatory compliance are embedded throughout the entire product lifecycle.

 

Working across R&D, Manufacturing, Operations, Supplier Quality and Service, you will establish global quality governance, drive end-to-end traceability and help shape how innovative hearing solutions are developed over the full product lifecycle.

More about the role

 

  • Own and continuously evolve Sonova's global Critical-to-Quality (CtQ) framework, ensuring its implementation and effectiveness across the entire product lifecycle.
  • Establish and drive global CtQ governance, standards and best practices across product development, manufacturing and service.
  • Lead cross-functional CtQ reviews, aligning R&D, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality and Service around critical quality goals.
  • Ensure end-to-end traceability of Critical-to-Quality attributes from design to manufacturing and service.
  • Integrate CtQ into key quality processes, including Design-, Process-, Service FMEA and Safety Risk Management.
  • Ensure field performance, reliability and customer insights will feed back to CtQs to continuously improve product quality and future product generations.
  • Drive continuous improvement of CtQ methodologies, tools and KPIs.
  • Train stakeholders on how to apply CtQ principles.

 


More about you

 

  • A degree in Engineering, Quality, Science or another technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Extensive experience in Quality, Product Development, Manufacturing or Operational Excellence within a highly regulated industry, ideally Medical Devices, Aerospace or Automotive.
  • Hands-on experience leading the practical application of APQP, PPAP, FMEA and lean initiatives to improve overall product quality.
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Management System setup g. ISO 9001; experience with ISO 13485, ISO 14971 and IEC 62304 is an advantage.
  • A track record of leading cross-functional quality or continuous improvement initiatives and influencing stakeholders in complex, global organizations.
  • A curious, pragmatic and entrepreneurial mindset, combined with excellent stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills.
  • Fluent English; German is a plus.
