Position Summary
Reporting to the Vice President of Sales and Operations, the Data Analytics & Applications Manager leads the organization’s analytics, reporting, and business application initiatives to support operational performance and strategic decision-making.
This role partners cross-functionally to deliver actionable business insights, oversee reporting and dashboard strategy, support ERP and reporting platform optimization, and drive continuous improvement across analytics processes and systems. The incumbent will also lead and mentor the analytics team while ensuring reporting accuracy, consistency, and operational alignment.
What you'll do
- Lead and support the analytics and applications team, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of reporting and analytics outputs
- Manage departmental priorities, workloads, and reporting deliverables across the team
- Provide coaching, guidance, and oversight to support team development and accountability
- Oversee dashboards, KPI development, scorecards, and operational reporting
- Translate complex data into actionable insights and business recommendations
- Support forecasting, performance analysis, and operational decision-making
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through data analysis
- Support optimization and enhancement of business applications and reporting platforms
- Partner with IT and operational teams on ERP reporting, system improvements, and integrations
- Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and workflow efficiencies
- Support system implementations, reporting enhancements, and related projects
- Ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and data integrity across the organization
- Maintain reporting standards, documentation, and best practices
- Partner with business leaders to support analytics needs and strategic initiatives
- Present reporting insights and recommendations to leadership teams
- Other duties as required
What you'll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Economics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field required
- Master’s degree considered an asset
- 5+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or related roles
- Previous leadership or team mentorship experience strongly preferred
- Strong experience with Power BI, SQL, and data visualization tools
- Experience with ERP systems, reporting platforms, or business applications
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience supporting process improvement, reporting automation, and cross-functional initiatives
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
What you'll get
- Competitive base salary of $90,000 to $120,000 annually (based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity), complemented by a bonus program.
