Upgrades Specialist

The Upgrade Specialist sells accessories and/or products to assigned existing customers via remote means. 

 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Performs routine sales activities via remote means and serves assigned existing customers in line with the business plan.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with assigned existing customers and informs them of new products, accessories, services, and prices.
  • Follows up with assigned existing customers on routine customer case issues and refers to a superior for all non-routine requests.
  • Collaborates closely with assigned field force representatives or key account managers and provides support as required.
  • Performs routine sales activities to help existing customers with latest hearing technologies.
  • Reaches out to customers through methods that include, but are not limited to, phone call, email, web chat, and SMS chat for selling opportunities.
  • Guides customers through the insurance approval process for replacement processors.
  • Uses CRM, SAP, and Insurance Portal while helping existing customers through the upgrade process.
  • Record all sales activities in CRM.
  • upgrade process.
  • Manages upgrade orders and enters the orders into the ordering system.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Travelling Requirement: may require less than 5% travel

Education

  • High School Diploma

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor’s degree 

Work Experience

  • 1-3 years of sales work experience

Nice to Have

  • Experience in hearing healthcare, or med tech industry.

Professional Competencies

  • Able to complete work independently and collaborate on a team. 
  • Exhibits strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to interact courteously and professionally when engaging with customers.

A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova

This role's pay range is between $21.53/hr - $32.30/hr, compensation is based on skillset and location. This role is also bonus eligible.
