Python Software Engineer

This is your opportunity to work in a scaled agile environment within international teams developing high-tech solutions for the medical hearing health care sector. You will be responsible for the development of tools for building, testing, and releasing firmware for our products.

 

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, integrate, document and maintain the software development tools enabling model-based functional development, and embedded application-level development for signal- and neural-network processing
  • Collect and refine requirements as required for design and implementation
  • Actively support communication and collaboration among the team that develops the tools and the teams that use the tools
  • Contribute to design reviews, leverage best-practices in software development, document and implement guidelines
  • Contribute to architectural qualities in support of conceptual integrity, modularity and extensibility 

 

More about you

Essential qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in the development, deployment and maintenance of embedded software systems (mandatory) 
  • Proficiency in Python, Experience with Matlab & Simulink
  • Fluency in CI/CD systems, hands on experience with DevOps Azure, GutHub Actions
  • Eagerness to work across different technologies
  • Team player with service orientation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent in English 

Good to have qualifications:

  • University degree (MSc/BSc) or equivalent in computer science or related technical field 
  • Knowledge of one (or more) of the following technologies: C, C++ (including CMake and Conan), Docker
  • Foundational knowledge in Signal- and Neural Network Processing is a plus
