Senior Digital Platforms Operations Manager

Fixed-term contract.

As Senior Digital Platforms Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the reliable day-to-day operation, governance and continuous improvement of Sonova’s web and eCommerce platforms across brands including Phonak, Unitron and Hansaton.

You’ll lead the integration of content management (CM), digital asset management (DAM), CRM and ERP connections to deliver scalable, high-quality digital experiences. Working closely with Marketing, IT, UX/UI, Analytics and external partners, you will drive the website and eCommerce roadmap while ensuring strong operational performance and an excellent customer journey.

 

More about the role : 

 

  • Own the operational performance, availability, reliability and incident management of web and eCommerce platforms.
  • Lead major incident management, resilience, capacity planning and business continuity activities.
  • Coordinate website and eCommerce releases, product launches and feature deployments, ensuring they are delivered on time and to quality.
  • Manage and prioritize requirements across Sonova brands, translating business needs into clear and actionable roadmaps and backlogs.
  • Establish and maintain standards for deployment, testing, accessibility, security, GDPR/privacy and branding.
  • Oversee integrations and data flows between CMS, DAM, Salesforce CRM and ERP systems.
  • Monitor platform KPIs and use analytics and insights to drive continuous improvement, including SEO, site search, UX and A/B testing.
  • Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders and external vendors, managing expectations, risks and priorities.
  • Manage agencies, service providers, contracts, budgets and operational plans.
  • Enable brand teams through playbooks, training and best practices.

 

More about you :

 

  • 8+ years of experience in digital platform operations, eCommerce or digital program management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Marketing Technology or a related field.
  • Strong experience with AEM, SAP Commerce Cloud or similar enterprise CMS/eCommerce platforms.
  • Experience integrating CMS, DAM, CRM and ERP systems, with a good understanding of APIs, data flows and data quality.
  • Experience managing complex programs, cross-functional teams and external vendors.
  • Good knowledge of web analytics, SEO, UX, A/B testing and digital performance metrics.
  • Strong project/change management and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without formal authority.
  • Ability to work effectively with technical teams and software developers.
  • Business-oriented and data-driven mindset.
  • Good knowledge of HTML and CSS.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Salesforce CRM and its ecosystem.
  • Professional development in digital marketing or web solutions.
  • Project management certification.
  • AEM and/or SAP Commerce Cloud certification.
