Senior IT Solution Architect (SAP MM/PP/QA) (m/f/d)

 


Join our global IT organization and take a key role in shaping and delivering SAP-based solutions across production planning, materials management, and quality management processes. This position sits at the intersection of business and IT, with strong ownership of SAP PP/MM/QM solutions in a complex, international environment.

  • Leading complex requirements analysis and solution design across systems and domains
  • Designing and configuring SAP PP / MM / QA  solutions aligned with business needs
  • Driving process improvements and optimization initiatives
  • Facilitating workshops and driving decision making for IT solutions
  • Leading functional streams in large transformation programs (incl. S/4HANA)
  • Ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, data standards, and IT strategy
  • Acting as an escalation point for complex functional issues
  • Ensuring quality and continuous improvement of functional deliverables

 

 

More about you

 

  • 8+ years of experience in SAP PP/MM/QA environments
  • Strong experience in solution design, configuration, and business process mapping
  • Cross-Module Integration: Seamless orchestration of data flows between MM, PP, QM, and touchpoints with WM/EWM (Warehouse Management) and FI/CO
  • Knowledge of  SAP Variant Configuration, SAP Logistics Execution, or other SAP modules is of great advantage
  • Enterprise Structure Design: Ability to design scalable organizational structures (plants, storage locations, purchasing organizations) that align with global business models
  • Custom Solution Design: Competency in writing high-quality Functional Specifications and designing user exits, BAdIs, and custom developments (RICEFW) without breaking standard SAP architecture
  • Technical Literacy: Strong understanding of SAP data tables, ABAP debugging skills to troubleshoot complex issues, and familiarity with IDocs, EDI, and BAPIs for system integration
  • S/4HANA Readiness: Understanding of how ECC MM/PP/QM processes map to S/4HANA (e.g., Simplification List, Business Partner approach, MRP Live) to guide future migration roadmaps
  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to act as the bridge between executive business stakeholders and technical development teams to translate complex business requirements into scalable SAP blueprints
  • Experience with IT tools such as SAP Solution Manager, JIRA, Signavio, ServiceNow
  • Experience in international, cross-functional environments
  • Fluent English (additional languages like German, Polish or Chinese are a plus)
